MFRC531 belongs to the latest series of highly integrated reader IC, contactless communication can achieve 13.56 MHz. This series of card reader IC offers:

MFRC531 supports the use of MIFARE high baud rate (see section 9.12 on page 38) for contactless communication. Provide a stable and efficient demodulation receiver module/decoding circuit scheme of compatible transponder signals (see section 9.10 on page 32).

Digital module management complete SO/IEC 14443 standard into frames and error detection (parity and CRC). In addition, it also supports fast MIFARE security algorithm, used for authentication, MIFARE product (see section 9.14 on page 40].

Internal transmitter module (see section 9.9 on page 29) driven directly without any additional active circuit for 100 mm closer to the work as far as design of antenna.

Parallel interface can be directly connected to any 8-bit microprocessor to ensure that the card reader/terminal design flexibility. In addition, also supports the compatibility of serial peripheral interface (SPI) the first section 9.1.4) (see page 9.
